Scarabeus Medallion

A small sculptural talisman, handcrafted in Poland using the traditional lost-wax casting technique — one of the signature methods used by PARELPAREL.

The scarab is first sculpted entirely by hand in wax, without the use of 3D modelling or machines. The wax form is then cast in 925 sterling silver and carefully finished by hand, preserving the subtle irregularities and tactile character of the original sculpture.

The scarab is an ancient symbol traditionally associated with renewal, transformation and new beginnings. PARELPAREL reinterprets this historic motif through a minimal, modern form, turning it into a subtle everyday talisman.

Each scarab is made and finished individually. Slight variations in surface, shape and texture are a natural result of the handmade lost-wax process and make every medallion subtly unique.
