Scarabeus Silver Collier

A delicate silver necklace featuring a sculptural scarab pendant, handcrafted in Poland using the traditional lost-wax casting technique — one of the signature methods used by PARELPAREL.

The scarab is first sculpted by hand in wax, allowing its organic form and subtle details to develop naturally. The wax model is then cast in 925 sterling silver and carefully finished by hand. No 3D modelling is used in the process, preserving the individual character and slightly irregular beauty of an object shaped by the human hand.

The scarab is one of the oldest symbolic forms in jewellery and decorative art, traditionally associated with renewal, transformation and new beginnings. Reinterpreted by PARELPAREL in a minimal, contemporary form, it becomes a small sculptural talisman — understated, timeless and deeply tactile.

Each pendant is individually made and hand-finished, so subtle variations in its surface and form may occur. These differences are a natural part of the lost-wax process and make every piece slightly unique.
