Lost-Wax Casting Method

Lost-Wax Casting Method

Lost-wax casting is a popular method of creating jewelry that has been used for thousands of years. At ParelParel, we take pride in utilizing this traditional technique to create unique and high-quality pieces of jewelry.

The lost-wax casting process begins with our unique design. Once the design is approved, a wax model of the jewelry is created by hand. This wax model is then coated with a heat-resistant material, typically in steel, to create a mold.

The wax is then melted out of the mold, leaving a void that is filled with molten metal, such as gold or silver. The mold is then cooled, and the metal is allowed to solidify. Once the metal has hardened, the mold is broken away, and the jewelry piece is revealed.

This method allows for intricate designs and details to be captured in the final product. Additionally, it is ideal for producing small batches of custom jewelry.

At ParelParel, we take great care in each step of the lost-wax casting process. We work as a team meticulously to ensure that each piece of jewelry is of the highest quality. We use only the finest materials to create our molds and pour our metals, ensuring that our jewelry will last for years to come.
